The Car
Mazer Motorsports competes in a 2009 Mazda MX-5 NC2, purpose-built for road course competition and currently being developed for competition in the SCCA and ISCCS Touring 4 (CT4) class.
Powered by Mazda's 2.0L DOHC MZR four-cylinder engine producing 167 horsepower and paired with a six-speed manual transmission, the MX-5 platform is known for its balanced handling and reliability. Its lightweight chassis and responsive steering make it an ideal foundation for competitive road racing.
I'm Raven Hopkins-Mazer, founder and driver of Mazer Motorsports. My passion for racing began at a young age, watching NASCAR and attending local races with family. In 2026, I launched Mazer Motorsports to pursue road racing competition in the ICSCC and build a grassroots racing program from the ground up. My approach is simple: race with discipline, focus on consistency, and improve every time the car hits the track.I'm currently preparing for a full 2027 season and seeking partners who want to grow alongside an ambitious and passionate team.
